Needlecrafty Things

I always love crafts...

1. Knitting (my mom bought me a knit book for kids when I was 10). I love for the first sight. I still remember the smell and the pictures of it.

Lately, I start thinking of knitting again. I need of that. My house is being renovated, and I'm the architect, so I need the stress-reliever. Looking for idea at bookstore then I found the Ultimate Book of Quilting, Cross Stitch and Needlecraft from Lucinda Ganderton and Dorothy Wood. Lovely book.

Last month, my sister was coming from Maryland and she bought me Knitting Kit from Boye, and 2 balls of gorgeous yarns. (Thx, sis..)

2. Crochet. I bought "crochet kit for kids and beginner". It is a fun way to learn crochet.

For me crochet is easier than knitting. But I still love them.

One time, my best friend, introduce me to her-then-mom-in-law's- friend, Mrs. Elly, that really cool about crochet. Since she married with American (we're Indonesian), she got lots of yarn that sent to her house. Every colors, every sizes... But she didn't allow me to get the yarns. 'Cos I wouldn't be focus. So she asked me to do some project and picked some skeins that stated in the pattern. And I have to finish it before I can take another yarns. :(.

So.... I have to rush!!! Finished my throw, and Mrs Elly...I'm coming...
